Plus pres du soleil - Piu vicino al sole

I love what takes its time : a city better understood on the second day, a sea that changes colour if you wait a little, a faade that is never quite the same depending on the hour. I travel for these thresholds, the instant when the world tips from one order into another, when we cross from one shore to the next without noticing. The country matters less than we think ; what remains is a geometry, a light, sometimes a nude already painted long ago in some museum. I'm wary of self-presentations that are too tidy, and of faces that explain themselves too much. Naturism is not a statement, it is the natural consequence of a gaze that prefers the world bare to its dressings, clothes included.

I gladly look for places in big cities or by the sea, to make the most of nature. If someone wishes to host me and show me their region, I'm happy to offer a cultural exchange or a few hours of help, in the spirit of volunteering, as a way to (re)discover a place differently.

I love slow travel and easy, honest company people at ease in their own skin, curious about the world, and unbothered by convention. I'm drawn to those who are grounded, easy-going, generous, and natural no pretense, no games. A wild cove or a good conversation means the same to me. Above all, I value honesty in body and in spirit.

My Interests

Nature and wild places coastlines, quiet coves, landscapes worth walking slowly through. Naturism as a way of life, not just a practice. Architecture and local history, from grand buildings to small forgotten corners. Languages I'm learning Italian, and I love how a language opens up a culture. Writing, in a simple and honest style. Slow, low-budget travel: volunteering, staying with locals, discovering places through people rather than guidebooks. And queer-friendly spaces, where I don't have to explain myself to feel at ease.

Movies

I love arthouse cinema, though I've grown tired of celebrated directors who keep repeating themselves, especially when they parade their own despair to provoke a reaction and stage a connection with troubled minds (Lars von Trier). I'm drawn to science fiction that inspires and pushes into metaphysical, even psychiatric territory : the future of humanity and the world (Interstellar...). I enjoy comedies that poke fun at love, with finesse or without (Notting Hill). And I love historical films and epic sagas (Troy, The Lord of the Rings...).

Music

Eclectic and mood-driven : a mix of Italian indie-pop, sharp electronic beats, and unapologetic pop, with a particular fondness for Colapesce e Dimartino, melancholic and cinematic Italian indie-pop. Music for both dancing and drifting.

My Heroes

My heroes are the great men (and women, or movements) of history who pushed forward the biggest social innovations, brought more equity, a real sense of equality before the law, and greater brotherhood. Often great figures of the political left, when they carry no baggage (war crimes). Sometimes men labeled "right-wing" who would never have skimmed a cent for themselves or their families (General de Gaulle). Sometimes mothers who care for their children without the means to do so. Right now, I admire New York's mayor, Zohran Mamdani.
