Hey, my name is Tai! I'm 23, and I'm very new to this community! To be honest, I don't know if I necessarily would even label myself as a nudist, but I do enjoy not feeling constrained by clothing. I started experimenting with nudity when I was very young, but I was a teenager when I realized how much more comfortable it sometimes could be. It's only been in the last couple years that I've begun to want to be in a place where it's okay to be socially nude as well, and where there's a bit more of an openness and a vulnerability between folks. I don't have anything against clothes, but I don't particularly love the expectation that I've got to wear them either.
I grew up in a very conservative (theologically and politically) conservative household where nudity was absolutely taboo. Exploring nudity is one of my steps in trying to separate myself from that headspace, because the purity culture can be rough, even as a guy. So far, it's been something I've really only done on my own, but I definitely want to connect and hang out with other folks.
Feel free to reach out! I'm gay, and down to talk to other gay guys, but I'm not looking for sex or flings. If you're a straight guy or a woman, I'm not interested in coming onto you (though I confess I'm also not blind). Age-wise, please be somewhere within five or so years of me. I don't have anything against older folks (y'all built these communities for us), but I feel more comfortable exploring this world with people who are closer to the same point in life that I am. Who I'd like to meet
Mostly guys between 18 and 30. I'm especially interested in people who are either very new to the community like me, or folks raised in nudist households where it's always been normal. Bonus points the closer you are in age to me, the closer you are to me location-wise, and the better a conversationalist you are!
My Interests
I really enjoy most art, and spend a bunch of time reading and writing! I'm also very into theatre and music, and super impressed by anyone who has talent in those areas. I love hiking in the mountains, trying new foods, exploring across the world, and getting to know people all over!
Movies
I'm not super into movies, and I barely watched any growing up. Most of the movies I've seen have only been within the last couple years. Of those, some of my favorites are 2001: A Space Odyssey, Good Will Hunting, and The Knives Out series!
Music
My music taste is all over the place. I grew up on classic rock and 90s country, but over time, I've grown to love everything from musical theatre to K-pop to soul. I'm currently just getting out of a Celtic folk phase, so probably about to fall down a new rabbit hole.
My Heroes
People who have dreams about helping the world and actually make them happen! I really value building positive community between folks, so anything where that's the primary goal is something I admire.
