Best island in the canaries?

Hi all! I'm hoping to have a few days of sun at some point in spring and been thinking about visiting the Canary Islands for the first time. All islands seem to have their qualities and all seem to offer beautiful nature for running, walking and relaxing.

I'm curious however to hear what everyone thinks when it comes to nudism: which island is the best for it? I know they all have nude beaches but where would I find the most and which have the more nudist friendly areas, towns etc? And if they all are very good for it, what areas is it best to stay in for easy access to the best nudist beaches? Would love to be able to park my car, leave all clothes in it and head off for a long walk/hike in nature via a beach, enjoy the quiet but also would like to be able to socialise with fellow naturists, so busy beaches would be nice too as I never get the opportunity

Thank you for the suggestions :)

For long naked beach walks I recommend Fuerteventura, the beaches south from Corralejo are great to walk and enjoyable. Just park your car next to the FV-104 and walk nude into the dunes.

If you want to enjoy a nudist holidays I'll recomend you to go to Fuerteventura or Lanzarote.
I still didnt go to Lanzarote, but I know there are many quiet and nice beaches, but in Fuerteventura even there are not "oficial nude beaches" you can go nude on almost everyone, unless on the most crowded areas.
You have many places to go on the north side of the island Corralejo with all the dunes and so many kilometers to walk run sunbathing or swimming, but there are rip currents on the water.
If you go on the south side os the island you have from Morro Jable (Jandia beach) going to the north many places you can also enjoy sunbathing, walking running swimming and the water has not so many currents. On the west side os the island there are also nice beaches but also with rip currents and it's more windy.

Someone on another board retired to Gran Canaria and found it very nude accepting, even in places that were not officially clothing optional. He was able to essentially live nude.

My friend and I regularly go to the south end of Fuerteventura for Christmas and New Year. We are always welcome. Look for Monte Marina in Esquinzo just north of Morro Jabley. It's a sheltered nudist complex. There is an Irish man's bar across the road, a convenience store and two restaurants. (al of which need clothing but are worth it. The beach is long, sandy nudist friendly and has the odd beach-bar. You can walk for miles naked (much more so than at Corralejo)

Are the beach bars nudist friendly?

We have used our first hand knowledge to refute this statement many times.

We have been to Gran Canaria often and while its true that nudism is accepted, there is only one beach where it is practiced as a norm, and only one area where nudist gather in numbers.

You can be naked on other beaches but this rarely happens. At one resort we stayed (Petit Natura) the town beach is only 50 yards away, but they recommend guest use the shuttle bus service to the naturist beach in Maspalomas. And no you cant use the bus or walk in the town nude so living a nude life would be extremely challenging.

Not first hand knowledge, but some detail about how he claimed to have lived, much of which I have mentioned before.
First of all, he lived in a relatively remote part of the island.
He had a vehicle so public transportation or long walks in populated areas were not necessary.
He did have a small amount of clothing for when he needed to go into town or a nearby location that required it.
Some local small businesses were comfortable with nude patron including a cafe and tavern that permitted it on their terrace.
If he wanted to go to a full restaurant, he went to a clothing optional resort with a public dining room.
Admittedly, some of these were possible because he was a permanent resident, not a visitor.

Im saying as someone whos lived the experience of being there, the guy was leading you on. Making up lies. No business will let you walk about naked no matter what youve been told.

Stop being so gullible.

Here is a sample of the posts. While someone could make up something like this, I view it as highly unlikely.
