Love these posts. I visited that beach a lot in the 80s and 90s when I lived in Chicago, well worth the trip for naked sun and swimming. At that time we would be nude in the dunes, but not on the beach (remove suit when swimming, of course). I could wear a thong on the beach without a problem. Favorite times were weekday afternoons. I think it's time to make a trip to see friends in Chicago, maybe I'll see you all out there!
