i just want to open a topic like this as i am wondered what everybody believes...

First of all....sorry for intuding in the ladies room but I do have an opinion on this topic. I shave and I find it far more pleasurable when my woman shaves too. She also likes me shaved.....well...I do leave a little "landing strip" so to speak.

I have shaved down there for many years and I prefer to be that way. I don't ever intend to grow my pubic hair back.

Pardon the intrusion! I asked my wife this question and here's her answer. "You were mildly pressuring me to shave off my pubic hair completely and I wasn't comfortable with that. Once you left me alone and to decide for myself ... then, we both got what we wanted!" I think I was trying to hard to "blend in" with what most of the other nudists were doing at the beach, club and resorts we visited ... not sure why but that's what I figure I was doing. Once I backed off and let her decide for herself, she did it on her own and that's what "she" wanted and prefers. :D

She has gotten pretty good at doing it herself but will ask me to do it if we are going to a club, resort or the beach. She is afraid to do it to me... she always says ... "With my luck I'll cut something off I really need!" LOL Okay, Sorry...I'll go back to reading only. :)

I spent most of my entire life with unshaved pubic hair. Did all the usual other spots. And that was until a couple years ago, when I decided that I was going to "trim it down". (I'm not Mediterranean genetically, more Germanic/English, so body hair hasn't been that much of an issue.) My hair was light brown, and went grey eventually.
I trimmed, liked it. Then I shaved all but the bits at the bottom, more to kind of hide my genitalia. Fun! I feel slicker, like the look, and won't change it for the foreseeable future.
Body hair entraps our natural pheromons (we've been brainwashed to cut/shave it off and BUY THEIR SMELLY STUFF. I don't want a man who smells like Old Spice, I want a man's natural smells. To me, being nude means also being nude about additives to "cover" what we really are. Nudists are some of the cleanest people on the planet (at least in social settings), so the issue of BO... isn't.

My lady of Asian background had a full carpet when we met, but after 1-2 years together she shaved it off.
Once she got used to not having her carpet she stayed a clean skin for about 7-8 years.However this year the carpet has regrown and will probably stay around for awhile.
My only request is its kept short however I am happy for her to be as she wants.
That said, it will be interesting to see if the carpet remains for any length of time or she once again reverts to being a clean skin.

I prefer some hair...trimmed, neat, clean. I tried shaving sveral times in the past, do not care for the 100% hairless feel.

At the beginning of my public nudist activity just a few months ago, I was shaved. Mostly because I enjoyed nudity by myself at the cottage on isolated lakes in my boat back in July.
After mentioning what I enjoy to some family members, they suggested I try a nudist beach, so I did.
Mind you, I was still shaved because it felt good, looked good, and everything tanned so nicely.... so there I was all cleaned up, and feeling a bit awkward on my first walk along the beach.
After a few minutes I realized no one cared and I was accepted for who I was, A naturist, and began feeling less vulnerable and also noticed a lot of other men were shaved or very clean cut ... to my surprise.
Im still not sure which I like best but for now with winter coming and hot tub parties, I think I'll stay with the well trimmed look.

I am a male and I have been Shaving since an ex- girlfriend got me to shave since 1984 . I have met woman over the years that I have
had a relationships with and appreciate that i take care of my self and shave , they say its sexier.
I love to be with a woman that either shaves or takes care of them self and has a landing strip as they call it.
Its safer for intimacy believe it or not and healthier for oral sex if that does occur FYI
