There are not many places we can go to be free but Hopefully with this group we might be able to organise friendly catchups and events to meet new people in a friendly and safe environment.The two main places (legal) to be free are at Tyagarah Beach and Pacific Sun Friends but hopefully within this page we can keep eachother posted on any upcoming events. Return to Discussionsrecently i found out how many ministers of council // state // federal live within 5 klms of a resort or beach were there are nudist ..mm.. i have asked a few of these members why Queensland dont have nudist beachs were other states do ? .. the most common answer was of the so called rock spider sydrome and possable rape,s in the area .. i said tell me were there has been a rape or atempted within 2klm of a nudist beach anywere in australia in the last 10yrs .. i have also said there are many resorts near nudist beach,s in NSW ,VIC , SA and WA that have created employment thru nudist resorts that are near a beach .. but look at europe and france alone have a complete township of nudist , they do not have any rape problems.. so why do you think that qld is going too. they say the electric would be scared to see nudist in there area ... i have said have you ever conducted a survey ?? they said they would be to scared such a survey incase of backlash ..
All this hype about the dangers simply says that they are unwilling to even give a thought to it.
All they need to do is stop and look seriously at the situation in countries like France Spain or Germany. Not to mention Denmark where all beaches are clothing optional and essentially it is left to common sense and respect. Who gets there first on the day largrly determines the situation for that day
The current QUeensland Premier flicked aside a petition on the basis she didnt have time to consider it
