We finally made it to the New Terra Cotta and we had a great time! Bummed we missed seeing Tom and Mary Clare but got to meet and talk with the new owner John and he's a great guy. I ran into someone I used to work with! He and his wife used to frequent the Terra Cotta Inn but we still can't figure out why we never ran into each other there! He'd been visiting for about 12 years and we visited for over 17. We met our lifelong, closest friends at TCI and our recent visit was to check out the new place and report back to our group on possibilities of getting back to Palm Springs and this new place for our annual/bi annual gatherings.

I'm more than happy to report that we give this new place, 4 Thumbs Up! Lots of plans for things to be done by the new owner but we thoroughly enjoyed our very, very short stay. We are already looking at the calendar for a much longer stay for just us two. So glad that a place like the Terra Cotta Inn opened and gave those of us that prefer that environment to some of the more snooty, cliquish places. The New Terra Cotta is just like the ol' Terra Cotta Inn with regards to the people and owner/owners; friendly, attentive, relaxed, comfortable ... just like hanging out in your own backyard with close friends.

Can't wait to get back!
