Return to Discussionshi Joe nice profile if I can add my two cents , size doesn't matter I've been a nudist for over 30 years resorts/camps , nude beaches and i've seen nudist in all shapes and sizes . there are no perfect bodies at the resorts nor the beach heck go to a textile beach and look around at those folks in bathing suits . I weigh 260# I'm not going to miss out on my nude life at camp or beach and when i'm 90 yoa in a nursing think dang I wish I had experienced fellow nudist in the same environment. if you can find a nude beach that would be my first choice but than again I see Illinois has a nudist camp call and schedule a visit during the weekday less people . go enjoy with your wife and have fun you both won't regret it. oh and just my view to all first time nudist get nude at your car go to the common area nude with towels and cooler you with blend in . if you go to the common area clothed everyone will watch you strip again no big deal for some.
Hi and welcome! I am around 290 lbs and had always been self conscious about even being seen in a bathing suit. Then about 3 years ago I watvhed a UK show on TV called Naked Beach. It gave some people with body confidence issues a chance to spend some time with a group of naked people to learn to accept and love their bodies....with great results! I decided to brave it and visited Abbey House Gardens on a clothing optional day. Best thing I have ever done! I felt free for the first time, and now after 3 years of visiting naturist clubs and events I have so much confidence. This summer I will visit my first beach....I am so ready! No one has made me feel ashamed of my size and without clothes you are just accepted on personality. I love that. I really hope your wife gives public nudity a try....
