Return to Discussionshas anyone seen the perception destiny 12 kayaks, they are a sit on but you sit low in the cockpit - kinda like a canoe in some respectsas the hull is not flat and cut deep. i've seen them as low as $500. check them out if you get a chance !

really got it in my mind to buy me a new yak, i think this one will suit me better than my sit in or the canoe i've been thinking of. i like it because you sit low in but it's a sit on. as you get older it gets harder for some of us to crawl into a sit in plus it cuts down on tanning area.

I checked out that boat on Perception's website. That's a pretty cool looking yak. I think you'll like that one
you know the only thing that i don't like about the destiny 12 and yes i've gone back to the store a dozen times to look at it is the storage tube with the rubber cover that bumps up to the seat , now if i'm nude or even clothed that thing is going to be right at my crotch - what were they thinking look at most other yaks and no one else put their's there.still looking and yes i still have my vapor 10 - a great yak so i'm in no hurry . so what is the perfect yak - see new thread ?
I was at Bass pro shop today and saw a cool sit in made exclusively for BPS call a Acend A10 and D10, i can't really see the difference but a tarp behind the seat on the D10, the a10 is $299. & the D10 is $399. I think - crazy. I think what is cool is it has a regular seat kinda like a native canoe, plus that super large cockpit 68 inches long to stretch out in. go to BPS web site and check it out it get great ratings too.
