And fall weather sets in! We've been struggling to use what we had in the garden before everything turned to mush and has some successes in the way of sweet peppers and our amazing pot full of basil we've been treating more like a houseplant (dragging it in at night and outside in the morning). Unfortunately we did see everything except the peas pass last week with the temps hitting the twenties.

My lovergirl made a fine dinner she calls goulash last night with some of the final harvest, hamburger meat sauteed with onions and garlic and then maters and peppers and such, a healthy dose of Cabernet and some elbow mac, some zucchini and yellow squash sauteed on the side with some home grown herbs - momma brought over some tasty cornbread muffins and our autumn dinner was complete, no clothes needed! I drank most of the rest of the cab sauv. with dinner and a little Obiwan Kenobi for our after dinner entertainment.

That sounds like a fine meal. Hope you enjoyed.
