Aamtrak To Newark Airport Bus Pick-Up

Just wanted to share some information with the other non-drivers
in the group that may be attending the Gathering.
I take the bus from Newark Airport to the campground; to get to
Newark Airport, I catch the Aamtrak train which has a stop at the
airport. From the train stop, you just take the free tram to the
terminal where the bus picks up everyone. Coming from MA the train is
much more affordable than flying in; $60 one way. Train #171 (which
makes stops in RI, CT, and NY) pulls in at 12:57 pm, and the bus is
usually scheduled to depart to the campground at 2 pm. I would guess
that a train coming from Phila, MD, DC and VA would be comparable in
price and schedule. Now that I've posted this, I wonder if someone is
gonna inform us of a flight that's the same cost. If so, let us know.

The one time that I was able to attend a Gathering, I flew from Jacksonville, FL to Newark, changing planes in Atlanta & then chatching the bus to camp. It wasn't real expensive & I didn't want to take the time & effort to drive all that way.Hopefully I'll get to another Gathering in the future as I had a great, naked time with all the guys!
