Cordless Battery Operated lawn mower

Return to Discussions

Cruising the pawn shops yesterday and found a Black and Decker 24 volt push mower for half of it's normal retail price. The mower looks new. This model has had good reviews and as soon as my grass grows high enough I will let you all know how this one works for me.Remember RETHINK REUSE REDUCE RE DO RECYCLE

RE: Cordless Battery Operated lawn mower

I have a B&D battery mower and it works well for my small yard if I keep up with it. If I let it get too high or wet, the battery barely lasts and I think it's overheating when it shuts off - let it sit for a few minutes and it'll start up and go again. It's a minor nuisance compared to the hassle of a gas mower though, and I love it...

They are fantastic we have a half acre block and with rotating two batteries i can usually get it done.
Ifgrass is wet, then it drains more from the battery and it can take up to four battery cycles to get it finishedbut, that's ok.We
have an Ozito, but think when it comes to replacement, i will look at a Ryobi.Theyare fantastic. the air is cooler, as i am no longer making the air blue when the petrol mower will not start.Givethem a go.Cheers
