I spent a glorious day at Hippie Hollow amid blue skies and moderately hot temperatures. How wonderful it was to be naked with others in the splendid of nature. I have not seen the lake water so high for more than a decade, making for easy swimming in warm friendly waters. The only disappointment was the number of clothed folks present - in the gay section, more than half of the guys wore regular bathing suits, a vast disappointment for me. Even in the mixed sections and by Radio Rock, many women wore bottoms. Being clothed at HH is akin to wearing a tuxedo to Burger King. I realize it's "clothing optional," but unless you are fully nude, you will not be embarking on a true nudist experience.
