Return to DiscussionsHello All,Now that the regular hockey season is coming to an end. The Playoffs are about to start. I thought it would be a good idea to make predictions on what 2 teams will make it to the Stanley Cup Finals. The person or persons who choose the correct teams will win a can of Turtle Wax and a boxof Rice O Roni the San Francisco Treat....lol...I predict it will be The San Jose Sharks vsThe Tampa Bay Lightning.
So far it look like we have only one person still in it. That is Essexwill. He predicted Rangers vs Hawks 3 weeks ago. Will he be right. The next round starts tonight. I am hoping out of the 4 teams left, Montreal beats the Rangers and beats whoever wins the LA vs Chicagoseries. Canyou believe LA came back again beat the Ducks. They really plucked their feathers last night. Good Luck Essex, I better get to the store just in case....lol
If they continue to play at the level they demonstrated last night, there's no reason our Kings can't grab the Cup again!
But that's always been their problem, consistency.
Of course, we're rooting for them, but it wouldn't surprise us if it ends up being Montreal and Chicago.
In any event, this round of playoffs will have some awesome hockey between 4 great teams featuring 4 of the best goalies to step on the ice. Can't wait!

We just hope the final between Our Kings and the Rangers will be as good as the series we finished last night. Chicago kept us on the edge of our seats all seven games and respect to the GREAT team that the Blackhawks are! That was world class Hockey at it's very best! Bring on the Rangers!
Yes the Blackhawks VS King Series was great. Its a shame that one of those teams had to loose. I was routing for the Blackhawks since, the Kings beat my Devils a few years back. Now that the Kings will be taking on the Rangers, I want to see the Kings do it. I may have to route for the Rangers thou. It seems all the teams I was pulling for this playoff season seem to loose. So on that note, GO RANGERS.....I can not believe I just typed that....lol
Last night's game was a heart stopping roller coaster and another example of two great teams defended by two of the most amazing goalies playing today. Tip O' the hat to the Rangers, but loving that our KINGS prevailed again! Lord Stanley is smiling on LA today!

Thanks everyone who posted on this thread. It was one of the most popular post I have seen on any of the True Nudists Groups. This wasa great playoff season and I look forward to next years. Who knows maybe I will be able to award some a box or Rice O Roni or can of turtle wax in 2015....Congrats to LA KINGS for winning the cup this year.
