Return to DiscussionsMy wife does not share my love of being nude. I started by hiding it from her. after a period of time, I did not get dressed when she came home . This progressed t working in yard naked and mowing lawn plus other yardwork naked. Now I no longer wear clothe unless in view of highway and working on idea to screen myself from road. i have started going into social nudism but she refuses to join me and i just go by myself.
Once our youngest child left home to go to university I was nude around the house a lot more, my wife did not say anything. I had a medical check up and it showed I had low vitamin D levels so she said well strip off and get some sun, so I did. I paved a protected area outside our house which gets great afternoon and late day sun and I created my sunning patio. I would go out there on a warm night (spring, summer, autumn), take a cup of tea on a week night or a beer on a Friday or a weekend and she would usually join me. She occasionally may be topless but otherwise would stay dressed and we would talk about our kids, life, our plans etc. a CFNM situation. Got caught by others a couple of times but that is a separate story. She was getting more comfortable with the nudity and then cancer struck.

When our younger son left for college, our older son was still here and had a son of his own who lived with his mother but spent a lot of time with us, especially in the summer, so my nude time was still limited.
I am lucky I met my husband at a nude resort. We both embrace the nudist lifestyle and so it is more normal for us to be nude at home than clothed. I don't know how I would be able to be in a relationship with someone who does not embrace the lifestyle. Now if you discovered the joys of nudism after your marriage I can see how that would be a topic of discussion. I have read several threats on the topic that one spouse embraces and the other does not. Never read how they resolved that difference.

I got interested in nudism long after we were married. My wife is fine with me being nude in the house and back yard as long as we don't have company, even though she is rarely nude at home. She is also OK with me going to a clothing optional beach.
