First trip to Collins Beach

Return to Discussions

I posted this to Nudist and Naturist of the Greater Portland, Oregon Area as well, sorry if the cross-post offends you.
I took my first visit to Collins Beach on Friday (8/12). I thought I would share my impressions and experience.
First,
it was an absolutely beautiful sunny day, and much needed hot sunny day
in the Pacific Northwest. I got there some time after lunch as was
amazed with how many people were there. A large number of people were on
the beach and quite a few on boats in the water. I have been to a few
unofficial nude beaches and each has it own issues. Some are too small,
or are really just a sunning area; with no swim area, or have too many
people there for non-nudists reasons. Collins was wonderful. Nice and
large, plenty of room to stroll on the beach or find a spot to hang out.
The beach was great and the water welcoming. The people were pleasant
(and well behaved). I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, I was
thoroughly impressed.
I plan on going again on Wednesday (8/24) if anyone is interested in trying to get a meet up together let me know.
