It would be around the 2nd week of september to the last, i'd mostly like to go hiking, but also have some cultural related activity to do in there.
September early October is awesome here. We have escaped the heat and the conditions are great for hiking. Downtown Salt Lake has many visitors attractions and will happy to host a tour if time permits. Southern Utah is still going to be pretty warm but also some great parks and trails to hike.
