How far in advance to book for a weekend?
Return to DiscussionsHey, been thinking of a trip to SR for a while, and just found out there's a Beer Fest even on the 27th. is it too late to book? Or how far ahead is it a good idea to make a room reservation there?
Just not thinking it's a good idea to drive home after drinking beers and so gonna need a room if I go.
Call ASAP. Rooms may already be sold out. I was talking with some folks who said that RV sites for that weekend are sold out. Are you willing to "rough it" and tent camp? No reservation is needed for tenting and you can always find a spot and we "tenters" are a friendly bunch!
Unfortunately, i have to work that weekend so I won't be able to make the Beer festival. It has been a great time in the past. If you go, be sure to try all the Red Castle offerings, Tony, The Brewmaster, is a member at the club and is a great guy.

We did the Wine Festival last year and it was OK, wish I'd done the Beer Festival! Great local beers there.
