Return to DiscussionsHad my first visit to Sunny Rest, or any clothing optional resort, a little over a week ago.
Was only a day trip, but still had a good time.
Have been to Gunnison often so am used to being nude in public places.
Stripped naked, put on flip flops, and locked everything else in the car.
Checked in, walked around. swam, ordered lunch at the bar, etc. all nude.
Would like to spend a few days there, but my wife isn't interested so I don't know if I would go overnight without her.
If I go, I intend to wear one pair of shorts and bring 1 pair of sandals, one pair of flip flops and one shirt.
Would take the shorts off when I arrived and stay nude until it was time to leave.
If I were sure that I could make it without a bathroom stop, I wouldn;t bring the shirt!
Would be interested in knowing if nudity is common enough mornings and evenings that my plan to be nude 24/7 would not be out of place.
Also was wondering why they sell provocative clothing in the gift shop.
My ideal of nudity (or even wearing very little) is for comfort, not attracting the attention of others.
