I was just there Memorial Day at night! Nice place, secluded. You have to walk down a steep trail into the gorge to get to the nude area but once there it is nice! If you look online it may say its closed but its not. If any clothed people walk by, just cover up for them. Any other questions just ask.

My wife and I were just at the Chautauqua Gorge/Skinny Dip Falls area this past weekend for the first time. We were hiking down there Friday and Saturday in the nudist section and came across around 20 people over the two days. Most were naked men alone, one m/m couple and 3 other f/m couples. Of those 3, only one of them had some clothes off. My wife hiked topless the entire time both days and when we'd stop to relax, we both would get naked and hang out. This being our first time, I don't know how the crowds vary day to day or week to week during the summer months.
We aren't necessarily nudists, more avid hikers that look for spots for her to show off her body as an added bonus. This area is ideal since it's clearly marked and nobody cares if you're naked. We had a blast and will definitely be going back as soon as we can.
