You must be aware of this, there have been landslips in the past and I saw a guy injured by a single rock the size of a football, who was then (after along wait) air lifted away -poor fucker. Also I had my wife's car broken into when left it in a layby a short walk from the headland. The climb down the ladder from there is a bit hairy too. You're better off going past the Plough and Harrow Pub, down the lane and park in the farm -it's only a quid.Just follow the lane down then through the woods, oh and check your tide tables before-hand.You should know there is no privacy here for hanky panky or anything that rhymes! but if you don't mind, neither do I.

Yea..its a lovely place but the cliffs are something to be wary of and respected.

If you park in the field opposite the farm it costs 3 in the courtesy box but you can stay as long as you like. You could also park by Southerndown in the beach car park near the heritage centre but get there early as it is really popular and free ( not sure if its the case in the summer.) You can then walk up through the gardens and access the beach via a path that you get to through the wooden gate near a wooded part of the walk.

And yes, watch the tides!

As for hanky panky....!!...I haven't noticed any....but then I don't go to specsavers!!

Don't underrate this place though, it is a stunning section of the Welsh Jurassic coast and not to be missed!!

yea...love this place (and Sker too). Am getting withdrawal symptoms with not being able to visit either location, so looking forward to having some prolonged naked times there when the 'lockdown' lifts. Wick and Monknash are stunning locations. Have managed quite a number of visits in the last year, it's my favourite place on the South Wales coast.

Continue to stay safe and follow the rules people, lets get the ' covid ' numbers down so we can get some freedom of movement back.
