The property was formerly a cattle ranch operated by the current owners for many years before they decided to proceed with their original dream of developing it into the beautiful and delightful nudist resort it has now become. Central to the property is a seven-acre lake which is well stocked with bass, bream and shellcrackers and provides a beautiful focal point for our activities areas. In addition to the lake there are quiet streams and all manner of flora and fauna. All of our activities areas are shielded by natural foliage so there is no need for extensive privacy fencing, as is the case with many nudist facilities. The activities' areas offer plenty of open sunny areas for the "sun lover" as well as ample shady areas for those whose skin does not take to an overabundance of sun.

Large clothes free resort a bit north of Greensboro, NC. Lake for fishing, boating and swimming; lots of grassed areas, pool, clubhouse, hiking trails, a golf course (of sorts), rental cabins, RV hookups, camping, etc. Friendly people.

Just a few words about the Bar-S-Ranch, as a first time vistor to a nudist lifestyle we were very much impressed with the people and property. On the second day we signed up as members, that was three years ago and still very much enjoy the quite life offered at the Ranch. Lake Wanda is really full of fish, the volley ball games are always alot of fun. There are several miles of well kept trails for walking or golf carts. The pool is a great place to relax with others while enjoying the warm North Carolina sun. I would recommend this place to anyone, the camping area is very nice, quite and shady with the bathhouse very convenient and clean. Visit the Bar-s-Ranch website for more information.
