About Lido Di Dante

Welcome to the sun-kissed shores of Lido di Dante, a charming slice of paradise in Ravenna, where the motto is "Less fabric, more freedom!" This famed nude beach is not just a spot to tan; it's a historical haven where the only suit required is your birthday suit. A hotspot for both nudists and naturists alike, Lido di Dante offers a liberating experience in a clothing-optional setting.

Beloved by fans of the FKK (Freikörperkultur or Free Body Culture), this beach has been a bastion of the buff since the 1960s. It's legally recognized as a nude beach, so you can shed your threads without fear of the fashion police. Beyond the freedom to frolic freely, the beach is nestled in a beautiful natural reserve, offering not just sand and waves but also a scenic backdrop for your au naturel escapades.

Don't worry about bringing much—just sunscreen and a smile. The beach is equipped with basic amenities to ensure your comfort, from showers to keep the sand at bay to a nearby café where you can grab a bite (dressed, please!). It's a place where you can truly embrace the naturist lifestyle, meet like-minded free spirits, and enjoy the liberating experience of being one with nature.

So, if you're a seasoned nudist or a curious newbie, Lido di Dante welcomes you to ditch the textiles and celebrate the skin you're in. After all, isn't life better in the nude?

Remember, at Lido di Dante, the only thing you need to pack is your confidence!

Lido Di Dante Directions

By Car: From the center of Ravenna take Via Marabina to the sea. When you enter the village of Lido di Dante, turn right at the traffic circle and continue on. The road takes a sharp left turn. At the end of that section there is parking on the left and, on the right, an entrance to a pine grove park "Pineta". Walk into the pine grove and after about 500m there is a path which crosses the road. Go left and walk to the beach. At the beach, go right and almost immediately the nude area starts. Enjoy!
By bus: When the schools are not in session there is bus service at the "Radio Taxi" stand across from the train station. The 44 bus goes to the Lido di Dante. Tickets must be bought at the "PuntoBus" in the train station.
By taxi: Year-round taxi service is available, but is quite expensive; about 30-50 Euros round trip.
