About Miners Beach
completely surrounded by national park with no visable civilization but right in town Miners beach is very large nude beach by Aussie standards with a few secluded & hidden spots for the nervous first timer good shade along the edge of the tree line however this is always the most popular locations on those hot sunny days. Be warned the Port Macquarie Coastal walk which starts at town Beach and meanders from there through all Port Macquarie's beaches & Headlands does pass through miners beach so be prepared to come across the occasional walker jogger and tourist in these parts however the local council has erected many signs warning them "Nudists may be encountered on this section of the walk" and even show an alternative route should they so choose. The beach has no amenities so take ur toilet breaks before visiting and remember to bring some water with you as there is no shops close by. Also DON'T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU AS THERE IS NO BEACH MAIDS TO DO IT FOR YOU. The beach is broken up by 3 big rocky outcrops on the sand which perfectly separate the zones into the northern end of the beach which is usually where most families head the middle area mainly singles and the southern end is mainly where most gay couples tend to head. All 3 zones are quite spacious so there is lots of room for everyone.
Directions to Miners Beach
Head along Pacific Dr from Port Macquarie Town Centre and either turn off down to shelly Beach and take the Coastal Walk from there over the headland to miners or Continue on to Lighthouse Rd off Pacific Dr till you see a National Parks sign on the left side of the road reading Sea Acres Coastal Walk or the next sign reading Miners Beach take either track down and you will find the beach
