About Baker Beach
Baker Beach has beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, easily accessible in San Francisco. Stay in the nude section north of the Hazardous Surf sign, or the rangers may cite you. Magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. Dangerous surf. Can be foggy in the morning. Public Accountant says: "This is fantastic beach for both nude and clothed beachgoers. Overall it has great scenery and is a definite must for nude beachgoers when visiting San Francisco. The water is very cold, so taking a dip feels good, but staying in the water more than a few minutes is not comfortable." Locals and tourists. More men than women and it gets crowded on hot days. Some gawkers and lots of clothed users. It is really a beautiful location. It is an urban beach, easily accessible by public transit.: Take Line 5 outbound; get off at 25th Ave; take Line 29 which goes directly to beach. When at the beach, must walk in direction of bridge; the nude part of the beach is at the northern end. Early Spring, or Late Summer best time to go when sky is clearest and weather conditions are best. Summer can be foggy and overcast, and cool to cold.
Directions to Baker Beach
Follow the signs on Lincoln Blvd in San Francisco. The beach is located between the SeaCliff neighborhood and the Golden Gate Bridge. Free parking lot, fills up fast in the summer Illegally parked cars will be ticketed The nude area is at the north end, which starts at the brown sign that says Hazardous Surf... To reach a wind-protected spot, hike around the big rocks at low tide

It is a miracle of the urban community that this beach exists. It is easy to get to. Clean. Not especially crowded. Mixed usage of women and men, naked. Because it is easy to get to, because it is an urban beach, lots of clothed people as well, but the nude portion is predominantly nude.
Weather can be fickle. Very cold, windy and foggy in the summer. Best time to visit, early spring or late summer when the weather in the bay area is warmest.

I went here today; the weather was nice and warm, most of the people were pretty friendly and I really enjoyed my time here! I was the last nudist off the beach at about eight o'clock P.M. and the beach was very peaceful then.... Overall a very nice experience! =)
