The wife and I had a wonderful stay this Valentine`s weekend. The saltwater heated pool adds to the facility and made it wonderful. The hot tub was nice and hot with plenty of power in the jets. Friday night was a pot luck, and there was plenty of food for more than was there. The band was simple yet very entertaining. The accommodations were very clean, as were the bathrooms. Each room has a heater, air-conditioning and a small fridge. The clubhouse has all the amenities, including a pool table, full kitchen, laundry, and a wide screen-high def with cable. The Poolside building has a full kitchen, workout area and a sauna. The staff worked hard to keep the grounds clean, they were friendly and very helpful; offering assistance above and beyond the call of duty. But for all it`s value, probably the most striking point of the resort is just the people. The regulars really make you feel at home and it seemed to us that it did not take long for us to become lost in conversation and friends. I have to say all in all, that the resort was one of the friendliest I have ever stayed at. If you are in the area, it is well worth a stop for a few days.

Pros

Very Clean, Very Friendly, nice pool & Hot Tub

Cons

The resort is small but expanding

The wife and I had a wonderful stay this Valentine`s weekend. The saltwater pool adds a "silkyness" and the 84 degree`s made it wonderful. The hot tub was nice and hot with plenty of power in the jets. Friday night was a pot luck, and there was food for more than twice as many people. The band was simple yet very entertaining. The rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms. Each room has a heater, air-conditioning and a small fridge. The clubhouse has all the amenities, including a pool table, full kitchen, laundry, and a wide screen-high def with cable. The Poolside building has a full kitchen, workout area and a sauna. Pros

Very Clean, Very Friendly, nice pool

Cons

The resort is small, and if you have a huge rig you should call in advance

Our Favorite Resort in Texas

A friendly new and beautiful little Resort with a somewhat tropical atmosphere just a very short distance from the Gulf of Mexico, makes Gulf Haven our favorite here in Texas. With amenities like soft water pool and enormous hottub and let`s not forget Sandra, licensed massage therapist from Switzerland, we highly recommend this clean, friendly little resort to all true nudists. We have visited several times since autum of 2007 and will continue to visit whenever we can.

Pros

Clean, cozy, close to Gulf and many amenities.

Cons

none
