About Playalinda Beach
Some come because its a regular habit. Others come because they've heard about it. What have they heard? That Playalinda beach is one of Florida's few nude beaches. They heard correctly. Playalinda is located within the Cape Canaveral National Seashore and is a federally owned beach. Whether by word of mouth or force of habit, this remote stretch of beach is well known as a nude beach.
Directions to Playalinda Beach
For those without a GPS: From I-95 take exit 220 for FL-406 toward Titusvilla/Historic District, Turn left onto Garden St Continue onto A. Max Brewer Memorial Pkwy, Continue onto State Hwy 402, you will have to stop at the guard house to pay the park fee, light left toward PLAYALINDA Beach Rd, Drive to the end of the road, Parking Lot 13 Destination will be on the right. From Cocoa Beach, take Highway A1A north to State Road 528 and go west to State Road 3 and follow it north to State Road 402, then turn east (right) and proceed to the beach.

Amazing Beach, can't wait to go back

I live in California, and recently visited Playalinda. I was amazed at how easy it was to get to, just park, cross a Dune, and you are there. in CA I have to hike nearly a mile to get there. The Beach at Playalinda is very clean, the sand is soft, and there is plenty of beach to settle in on.
I met some great and friendly people there and spent time picking up shells and playing in the water (which is about 15 degrees warmer than here in CA)
I plan to go back there as often as i can.
Pros
Clean, friendly, easy access, secluded.
Cons
a long drive through the park to get there, parking goes fast.

By no means is it Haulover, but it is a great clothing optional beach. Just like Haulover, the beach runs for miles, but the only the northern end is clothing optional and has the most visited. Admission is $5 per car, The beach is beautiful and there is ample parking and restrooms. There are no other facilities, so you need to bring sunscreen, food, and water with you.
Most of the directions to here are worthless and don't use the location on your iPhone, you end up in a bad neighborhood in Titusville. You really want to use the Latitude and Longitude listed below to get to the exact location.

MY WIFE AND I GO EVERY CHANCE WE GET WE LIVE OVER IN TAMPA BAY BUT LOVE THE BEACH THERE MILES OF WHITE SAND THAT HAS NOT BEEN BULL DOZED OR CHANGED IT STILL LOOKS LIKE IT DID 10 YEARS AGO PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY BUT PARKING SUCKS .

I like this beach, I go their every weekend, depending on Mother Nature, or other plans. very secluded beach, a bit of a drive... but worth it when you get there. the people are friendly.
Pros
all around great place.
Cons
not enough parking spaces... have to get their real early on the weekends. otherwise... be prepared to walk a little to the beach.

It was exactly what we'd heard it would be. Nice beach that gets crowded early. Nudity is technically illegal but it's not enforced. You'd think the fact that the nude section of beach is by far the most popular that they'd make it legal & add parking.
