About Pshs, Inc.
PSHS is one of the oldest family oriented nudist camps in the United States today. We are open all year round with plenty of things to do no matter what the season. PSHS has over 130 acres where you can enjoy nature walks, games, talking with friends or just sun tanning on our huge lawn...all while you have the benefit of a clothes free environment. PSHS has two large swimming pools, one outdoor (72' X 36') and one indoor pool (32' X 24'). We also have available, an indoor hot tub, sauna and our tanning bed. How wonderful it is to watch it snow while relaxing in the hot tub. During the summer, you can walk around the circle for exercise, play tennis, volleyball (two courts), petanque (two courts), badminton or shuffleboard.
Directions to Pshs, Inc.
From the North and East Follow Rt. 222 South towards Reading. Continue following Rt. 222 South to the Adamstown exit (Rt. 568). Turn left off the ramp. Continue on Rt. 568 past Rt. 625. Proceed another 1-1 1/2 miles to the Alleghenyville U.C.C. church. There is a fork in the road...stay to the right going off of Rt. 568 onto Alleghenyville Road. Proceed approximately 1 mile (road bears left or continues straight) and continue straight. After approx. 200 feet don't bear right, continue straight on Alleghenyville Rd. approximately 7/10ths of a mile to Camp Rd. Turn right onto Camp Rd. for approx. 500 ft. and turn left into camp.

Pennsylvan is the only true year round nudist resort in Pennsyvania and the northeastern part of the United States. It has an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and even a tanning bed.
Now the bad part. The place looks run down in many spots other than the indoor pool area. The roof leaks during rain storms in the club house. Attendance has decreased significantly over the past few years. Don't see much volleyball or other activities there much anymore. Nice place if you want to spend sometime with your signifcant other, not the place to be if you like to socialize with several different people. Pennslyvan website is also no longer in working order and there is many complaints that they don't return email.
They have a decent hotel on grounds. Feels like a small college dormatory or military barracks. The crowd is generally older.
Pros
Usable all year round and in most weather conditions. Indoor pool and hot tub. Decent hotel on grounds.
Cons
Parts of the park is run down. Not much in the way of physical activities. Attendance on the decline. Club doesn't answer or return emails.

Very rustic, but very quiet, and comfortable.

This is one of the oldest landed resorts in the area. It is very quiet, and the people are very friendly. They have pot luck dinners just about every month, and it is in very good standing with AANR. It's a great place to get away from it all for a day, week, month, season, or permanently. It's great for me because it's only about a 45 minute drive from my place.
Pros
It has all the amenities you want, both an indoor, and outdoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, hot tub, tennis, volleyball, basketball, rec hall, shuffleboard, banminton, petanque, , camping, room and cottage rentals, and it's open year round.
Cons
The snack bar isn't always open, and if you don't take food, you have to get dressed and drive to a local restaurant. The hotel rooms are very small, and they don't always heat the outdoor pool. Some of the younger adults can be less than hospitable at ti
