STAR RANCH is located near McDade, Texas, 35 miles east of Austin on Highway 290 East. From Highway 290, turn on Waco Street located next to a white steeple church. Take Waco Street for 0.25 miles past the railroad tracks and immediately turn left onto Brown Road. Continue on Brown Road for 1.9 miles until you see the sign Eely Road / Star Ranch. Turn left onto Eely Road. Proceed on Eely Road for 0.25, bear to the right and follow the signs to the gates of Star Ranch.

Established in 1957, Star Ranch is the physical home of The Sahnoans, a family nudist organization. "Sahnoan" is a Tejas Indian word meaning "The Healthy One". Star Ranch is located just 30 miles east of AUSTIN and has 110 heavily wooded acres with over two shady miles of roads and walking trails of soft, sandy soil. It is a family oriented club that is unique and special - dedicated to the nudist lifestyle. We offer year round visitation, full time residency and encourage RV trailers and travelers. There are three membership plans available including permanent residency. The Sahnoans have over 300 members and a number of pleasant folk that make their homes at Star Ranch. You can stop by and visit for the day, the weekend or the rest of your life.
