Wonderful Treasure in Virginia

My husband have been nudists for about 5years now and do allot of traveling on our motorcycle. Been to Nova Scotia, South Dakota, Missouri just to name a few places and plan on lots more great destinations. Each trip we stay all along our way at any naturalist campgrounds on our way. This is the first time we have been at Whtie Trail Resort. This place was clean, friendly with lots to do. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, game room, social hall all clean and well maintained. Doors, games, toilets and the like not only worked well but were clean and well maintained. We stayed in the hotel area and it too was up to date and very clean. workers constantly working on the grounds and cleanin up all day. Store well stocked and the staff was there to satisfy your every need. Food and service at the Trade Winds restaurant on campus was also clean, food good and hot with the homely feel of your grandparents home. The staff there too was very friendly, accomodating and the apron and nails were very clean. thank you so much for helping my husband and I to have a great vacation.....we will definately shout from the roof tops what a must see resort you have here.

White Tail has one of the largest and nicest pool/clubhouse areas we've seen at any of the 40 or so clubs we've visited. Most, but not all, of the members were very friendly and welcoming. Outdoor pool is huge, room for everyone. Indoor (and year round!) pool is great and volleyball was fun. We could never get online with the wi-fi. Rental room was decent. Our biggest complaint would be that we had no control over the temerature in our rental room because the thermostat is in another unit so we were not always comfortable and the beds are too hard for our liking. All things considered, White Tail Resort is a great place to visit, definitely if you have kids.

Family friendly, water volleyball was fun.

Wi-fi is useless, Thermostat for rental room is in a seperate unit so you have no control.

We try to go once a month. The events and dances are great. Famliy friendly! Very clean and well kept.

Had an amazing first visit this weekend and was wonderful the people were extremely friendly, the food was excellent, even in the rain the tent sites were great, and the karaoke night was a blast. The three of us that went will definitely return as soon as possible and with more friends. Bob Roche extremely well done.

WOW! Every time I go to WTR I am impressed with Bob Roche's indefatigable work on the place. I thought it was a bad idea to remove the tent camping sites, but he set up a nicer place where the unused nature trail was located. The Pool is usually an ideal temp, and the food service isn't bad either. It is nice to see so much work and effort to make sure the resort is in top form. Congrats Bob! PS MY rating is 5 out of 5. I didn't see the scoring line until I had posted my review.

Pros
A nice sized resort, with friendly people. An owner who is definitely cconcerned with the upkeep and improvements of the resort. Accepts singles with advanced notification

Cons
None really. The owner is really on top of things. If you are a first time visitor and a single male, make sure to call ahead.
