An Indian Prayer

What has happened to the Grizzly, once roaming free? What has happened to Eagle, so proud and free? What has happened to Wolf, and Coyote is happening to me. What has happened to the rivers that once flowed? What has happened to the ocean, and the land? Is this what Creator planned? We are no longer helping the land. And soon the land will die. Just like you and I. If no one loves and no one cares. There will be nothing left to spare. What have we done? The evil thinks it has won. We must stop the killing now. Before there is nothing left to plow.
