I used to be very good about working out. I would run, swim, lift, and do myriad other physical activities. I was never looking to get a six pack of abs or to be the next Arnold. It had more to do with just being healthy. Well, about two-and-a-half years ago, the shit hit the fan and I became so busy that I couldn't do anything but work. I would eat, breathe and sometimes sleep in between work. I was just that busy and I had no way to catch my breath. About a week ago, though, I got to the point where I felt I needed to get back into a more active lifestyle. Not because I don't like the way I look -- in fact, I rather like the way I currently look -- but because of the fact that I am starting to lose the fit of my clothes and I am starting to show signs of aging faster. I needed a way to deal with this and what better way than training my body to live longer and stronger. I don't want to lose too much of the weight I have, I really just want to redistribute it and help my joints get better. The fact that I actually like the way that I look has made it somewhat difficult for me to keep up a regimen and to continually follow through. I need to follow through so that I don't one day fall to pieces. With all of that in mind I set myself some goals so that I would follow through, if not for the looks, then for the project that I had set for myself. I have always been told that I shape up fairly quickly and that I am able to meld my body with exercise in a good way. I figured it was time to see if this was true or just the perceptions of people that are not too perceptive. I will be documenting myself as I move forward with photographs. I have posted the end of week 1 below. Week 1 Front Week 1 Right Week 1 Rear Week 1 Left
