St. Pat`s party report & upcoming events

Members and friends traveled from all over the Midlands as well as Georgia to attend the annual St. Pat’s party.  The weather could not have been more perfect.   We enjoyed our hosts` hospitality as well as their hot tub and thank them for asking us to arrive early where the sun on their deck was thoroughly enjoyed.  There were lots of snacks to enjoy before dinner including a large vegetable tray, a variety of cheese spreads, and the garlic/spinach dip.    Our hosts  prepared the main entre’ along with cabbage & potatoes and others brought macaroni & cheese, a cabbage dish, tossed salad/dressings, Irish soda bread, and a number of yummy desserts including brownies, St. Pat’s cake, and apple pie. .  The obligatory photo was taken and has been posted on the Travelites group on Yahoo, which is visible only to actual club members. .  The club’s next event is on Saturday, March 26 at our property in Hopkins – the annual Spring Fling.  Let me know if you’re interested in egg coloring and tie dying.  The fun starts @ 2:30 if the weather is good and if it’s rainy, we’ll begin at 4:30 and will feast on either grilled hamburgers or London broil.  Attendees are asked to please bring sides and desserts.  . Annual auction fundraiser for SisterCare, NAC, AANR Education Foundation, and the American Nudist Research Library begins and continues at each event until Travelites’ Patriots’ Party in Sept.
