A member named Swifthawk wondered about how to choose a nudist centre which truly lived up to its name, that is not be a venue for swingers and the like. Many posts followed, including suggestions to check out whether they are on a list of AANR approved resorts, as this organization will diassociate itself from any centre that does not live up to its standards. If I may add my own comments: The way I see it, clubs may well hold whatever activities they like, but if they do not uphold the high standards ofnaturism(i.e., no sex in a public setting, no overt sexual advances, etc.), then they have forfeited the right to call themselves anaturistclub/centre/resort/etc. Swingers clubs or erotic clubs may very well be clothing-optional or not, but that doesn't make themnaturistvenues. Part of our collective work should include identifying and blacklisting those clubs who use the term naturist when they clearly shouldn't.
