Travelites` Kids` Games for Adults report & upcoming

h1Travelittes' Kids' Games event report, upcoming, & auction update/h1 h2 Travelites arrived from GA as well as the SC upstate and across the Midlands for Kid’s Games for Adults day. There were Leggos, hula hoop, crayons/coloring books, bubbles, and a host of other items in the club’s toy box as we snacked on a variety of dips/salsa and chips and crackers. Our host’s deck was lovely to catch some rays or relax in the shade as the day grew into evening. We definitely lucked out on the weather. . We enjoyed masterfully grilled hot dogs and hamburgers along with the macaroni&cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni salad, and sinfully delicious chocolate cake, apple pie, and Klondike bars. . The auction list changed during the day. At the auction's conclusion, the club will donate to the Naturist Action Committee, American Nudist Research Library, AANR Education Foundation, and Sistercare, a charity for abused women and their children. Those who live any distance away, can have their successful bids mailed to them. You can watch it update at http://pages.prodigy.net/travelites/_wsn/page7.html . Travelites’ next event is the club’s 24th birthday on June 12th in Hopkins. We will be grilling either steak or hamburgers. So far we will also have homemade French fries and the garlic/spinach dip. Please let me know if you’ll be joining in the celebration. The club will buy the birthday cake. There will be a 5minute membership meeting as required by the corporation bylaws at 3pm, but you can visit any time after 12:30. Hugs, Cheri /h2
