Went to Gunnison and had a good time. Surprisingly small crowd for a warm summer day.
Unfortunately, I hit a pothole on the way out of Sandy Hook and got 2 flat tires. So I had to be towed to a garage near where I live and got home some 4 hours later than expected.

    We're hoping to be sunning on Gunny in just a few days - so thanks for the head's up to keep an eye open for big, scary potholes!

If you are interested, DM me and maybe I can meet you at Gunnison some day. Next 2 weeks are rather busy for me, so it may and may not work out.

    Yikes! That's horrible. On what stretch of road were the potholes? I was there today and fortunately missed it, but will be back a few days next weeks and can't afford to have a similar experience

    Love Gunnison! It is a clothing optional beach on Sandy Hook, beach G. Great place!

    Anyone going to Gunnison this week? I was there today (Momday), and should be back Wed, Friday, and maybe Thursday, depending on the weather)

    sorry I missed your post. I went on Wednesday the 19th. Beautiful day but started getting pretty crowded by noon. I left around 2.
