As most folks are saying, start slow and small. Most of us started indoors in our homes. Just start living your life nude inside and do everything you'd normally do in your house, just do it nude. Depending on the light and views, leaving some drapes/blinds open or slightly open will make the environment a bit more daring, I guess you can say. That way you'll get more comfy knowing you can see out and 'they' cannot see in.
Where a long shirt or short dress sans underwear to go check your mail or go outside for any reason and eventually you'll find it easy to do and later it will be easier to go outside totally nude. I spend a lot of warm evenings or very early mornings in the dark outside nude. I thoroughly enjoy being nude in the early morning for coffee. If you're seen, 9 times out of ten, they won't know if you're nude or not. You're just a figure in the dark.
It's perfectly fine if you find yourself a bit excited when you're nude outside or in your house. It's entirely natural and very healthy and shows you are enjoying yourself and when you eventually mix with others nude, you'll be comfortable. Good luck and don't hesitate to send questions my way. Nudist club near where I lived once hosted a nude run. It was great, lots of first time nudists. I went there by myself. Say in my car for a while to build up confidence. I looked around at others there and when I saw that no one was going to judge me for my perceived faultsI said okay lets go! Led to some nude swims hosted by the same club.

British Naturalism has several nude runs and mass skinny-dips for charity in which many first-timers take part.

Apr 14, 2024At Sunnyside, among those that don't completely disrobe are those accompanying someone who's totally nude, locals who walk through the nude section as they are (there are some residences within an easy walk) but occasionally there are some who do wear a suit. Perhaps they are too shy to take the last step or they feel they can only wear their preferred swimsuit there rather than one of the multitude of textile beaches. Strange, since I often wear far more skimpier suits to those textile beaches!

Apr 14, 2024As others have said, just be nude. After a while you forget about it and get preoccupied with daily life. And keep a long shirt handy when you have to go outside. I'm sure that I'm not the only one here that has taken out the trash while forgetting to dress.

Apr 14, 2024As for Marie and I we went to a place called Verde Hot Springs in the national forest of Arizona USA. It was a place we heard about that have naked people, and we thought it would be a great way to start.
It took Marie a little bit longer to relax enough to take her top off. Lol I immediately dropped my shorts as soon as we got there. She was kind of mad at me for getting naked so fast. But she took her knee bottoms off. Other people finally convinced her to take her top off. Its not easy for a woman to believe that they are beautiful after having a child. But she finally understood and has never looked back.

Strip off, sit, walk along the water's edge, gradually encounter people and find that they, also naked, behave just as people do in the street. 'Hi, nice morning' 'Yes, perfect day, cheers'. for my wife it was a C/O hot springs,we had heard about it and that it was clothing optional so went up there and set up camp.Walked up to the springs and there were 2 big pools. 2 ladies were floating around on air mattresses buck naked. my wife stripped right down and got in.has never looked back, wish she have done it sooner.

May 28, 2024That's about the only option I have at the moment. I usually take the kitchen vegetable scraps out to the compost pile about midnight. My wife does not approve so I don't have the option of visiting a nude facility or beach.
I'm in the process of refitting a $1 sailboat with plans to launch said boat for the 2025/2026 winter season. My wife does not approve of that either so I'm pretty sure she will not be accompanying me. I'll be free to sail naked and to visit whatever nude facilities that will allow single men to join the festivities. Maybe I can find a TN friend to sail with me, then I won't be that dreaded single male.

It appears the original poster (OP) made just a quick stop here at TN and has not logged on since. That one question was the entire conversation. Her stated home is Buffalo, FL ... which can't be found on Goggle except for the buffalo herds on Paynes Prairie on I-75. I did see where she had multiple pages of people trying to assist her but obviously unsatisfactorily. I suspect she's a genuine nudist impersonator, in person even!! Oh well, it'll be back eventually.

Jun 4, 2024We had this long desire or fantasy one can say to be naked outdoors and in public. We went to cape de agde and year after wedding. It was kind of awkward to walk out naked from apartment to the street to beach but somehow gathered slem courage and did it together.

My earliest memory was when I was a toddler, like many. It was cute to be naked - at about 5 I was with neighbor girl and we got nude to play in the dirt and mud and compare our differences and got caught by her sister. I never heard the end of it. As I matured and was able to go out into the woods and fields (rural growing up) I found being naked and skinny dipping to be very satisfying and always wanted to get back out there to do it. As a teenager you can only imagine how much fun it was. In HS we had gang showers and dressing rooms, so being nude with others was natural, just no girls and being in a conservative area, there were no public nude places. But the desire was always there.
I stayed single until my late 30's and lived in my home nude most of the time and spent most of my time nude at home and shared that time with different girlfriends over those years. Some enjoyed it while others weren't comfortable. That is when I learned what to expect from different folks. I soon married and my wife and I raised our children to be nude friendly, but never entirely nude due to the always unexpected open house with neighborhood kids being over any time. Now that we're empty nesters we've more freedom, but aren't that avid anymore. It's more of being nude when convenient. Aging has is changes. LOL.RéagirRépondre - NU
Jul 6, 2024Hi Grace, its completely normal for anyone who is not used to being naked in public. Its even more difficult when youre the only person in your family or circle of friends that has embraced this lifestyle
Best thing is to start going to the surroundings where youre not alone without clothes. Remember being naked on a beach may or may not help your shyness unless youre able to meet other nudists and get into having good conversations
