I started with one...

...and recently ended up with three! I adopted the 2 cats of a friend who has entered an assisted living facility. What makes it interesting is that one of the new cats (Itty-Bit, who's 7) is the kitten of my original cat, Chloe, who's now 10 tears old.  Mama-kitty is the grande dame at 14 years old.
What is ironic is that Itty-Bit and Mama fight regularly (despite living together for 7 years) and Chloe ignores them both unless they try to come in to sleep with me, at which point there is a hissy fit until the two newcomers get evicted and the bedroom door closed.
I do hope the hissing and spitting subside eventually...especially the ones that happen at 3am...*yawn*
