Should Adult Locker Room(Health Club section) allow members use Sauna and Whirlpool Nude?? I remember when i first start join men are comfortable walk around nude or doing other things nude like shaving or talking to each other. I believe men would let the guard down at the locker room and comfortable to be around with other men Nude. Any comment??

Oct 22, 2010AT the Y where I swim every day, there is much nudity in the locker rooms. In the higher priced "Men's Fitness Center" we have a sauna and in the past 5 years I have only seen 2 men who were not nude.

I just can't handle Y being so uptight about nudity, si i join L.A. fitness that even worst, people will be fully clothes with street clothes and shoes, Not even a soul will go naked. that is sad, these days how people used sauna and locker room. I can't see the next decade what would be like??

Apr 18, 2011The Y I belong to has no restrictions in the individual locker rooms and saunas. You can't however go to any of the co-ed sections without a suit.

Jul 10, 2011The gym I belong to in FLa. everyone of the guys walk around naked be it the steam, sauna or showere. Many do stand around and talk. Met some good friends there.

Jul 23, 2011The Dowd YMCA in Charlotte, NC has a whirlpool, sauna and steam room where men are pretty much always nude. The whirlpool is the best as no one gets in there (almost) with anything on. I wish I could go to the Y all the time but it is off my normal path.

Jun 3, 2014I've belonged to a few YMCAs in Massachusetts over the years. All have allowed nudity in the steam room and sauna. Most had gang showers too. Only one had a hot tub, but nudity was allowed there too.

May 1, 2015I remember when, as a kid, our YMCA transitioned to suits required in the pool. WOMEN had invaded the YMCA. We protested by taking off the suits while we had open swim times. The men tried to hang on to the tradition as long as possible as well. Of course it was a losing battle. Now we face the requirements of clothing in the Steam and Sauna, Whirlpool if single gender should also be nude. You can guess who no longer had a YMCA membership. Pity as it was one of my favorite experiences as a kid.تفاعلرد - NF
Jul 27, 2015I'm a member of the Brooks YMCA in Jacksonville, FL and we have to wear a swim suit in the whirlpool and sauna. A lot of guys wear boxer briefs and once in a while a guy will wear just a towel in the whirlpool, but the daytime locker room attendant will threaten to have you thrown out if you don't wear a swim suit. He also gets after any guys wearing just a towel in the sauna, but most just ignore him. There is some nudity in the locker room, but I often get funny looks walking naked between the locker area and the showers naked. They are in different rooms across the hall from each other and most guys wear at least a towel, but a few of us go naked which should be normal!تفاعلرد - TR

Mar 5, 2025Luckily in the downtown Kalamazoo men's lounge most guys go around naked. I have even seen some guys in their 20's that have enjoyed the steam room or sauna naked.

Also Workout-Area in Gym or Swimming-Pools. Should be a duty to do all physical Things nude. No exception.تفاعلرد
