Mar 8, 2009I got an email, that it is a very wet winter and spring on the playa, there is currently standing water out there, and it should be great for a very nice hard playa surface. Last year, due to almost no winter and spring precip, walking and biking on the playa was like going through inches deep of flour, not to mention the dust storms too.

Yeah, last year was not easy for biking, plus with the bigger distance too. I found myself more tired at the end of the evening than the previous year, when it was much easier.
