Jan 13, 2014We've started going to the ULU swim on a regular basis. Would love to connect with other True Nudists who go?
The pool is getting really busy now - but the new 2 hour slot makes it a much more relaxed event, can't recommend it enough if you want naked Sunday fun in central London. Now all we have to do is get people to read the lane signs ... it's the "Fast Lane", ie you are a competent swimmer :)
It's a great swim and we should all be thankfully to the organiser (those poor chaps stand by the pool for a long time!)

Jan 15, 2014I go when I can - unfortunately, not that often as I can't get into London too often, but I'm due to be there again in early February.

Mar 8, 2014At least 60 pass through the pool, and often many more. It is a well attended and friendly event.ReactReply - SMMar 8, 2014Good to know, I'll try and attend one weekend when I have some free time.ReactReply

Sep 16, 2014I created the group "Naturist London" giving details of Pool location and website for those interested, I am one of a group of volunteers who stand by the table and welcome you.ReactReply - SMSep 28, 2014I haven't been along to this yet. A person on another forum attended recently and said it was uncomfortable for him, people standing unduly close to him in an empty changing room and while talking in the pool. He may be over sensitive of course, but I'm not sure what to expect.ReactReply

Sep 28, 2014Without being able to read the forum mentioned, or having it cited, and being a regular attendee I can comment as follows - the changing room can appear as described, but this could be a result of a number of people having lockers next to one another. The swim is certainly very well attended and sometimes almost all lockers in the changing room are in use, (the swimmers are not the only users of the changing facilities). Should lockers become spare there is nothing to stop people moving to where there is more space. The concentration of people not swimming tends to be, but not exclusively, against the sides of the pool at the shallow end and there is a limited amount of space and it can fill quite quickly. Finally, although this swim takes place in London many nationalities attend each with their own perceptions of personal space, some, like the British, tend to like a good deal of space around them while others may find such behaviour unusual. Come along and enjoy the swim.ReactReply - SMSep 28, 2014Thank you for clarifying, I hope my post did not offend, it does sound like a good event. I now understand that in a crowded environment personal space can often be at a premium, indeed I just had similar problems at my gym after using the showers! Like many reviews we find online, some people will only post the negative, and that's what we focus on. I will definitely come along and find out for myself.ReactReply

Other naturist events in the London area include: a swim (in Ewell, Surrey - regular WEEKLY (except bank holiday weekends) Saturday evening (4:15pm - 6:15pm) and a naked gym session (in Chiswick). Search in the locations section of this web site
ReactReply - MEMemberJan 12, 2015
Does the London swim have a good gender mix?
No, it's nearly all men. There are a couple of women sometimes. BN do a women promotion periodically where the pool is reserved for women for the first half hour or so, once a year or something like that.ReactReply
