What do you guys do to ensure one and all sharing the Jacuzzi won't pick up bacteria or diseases or infections?
Salt water Jacuzzi or Chlorine based?

Oct 5, 2019I switched to mineral salt water with a drop in chlorine generator a couple of years ago after using straight chlorine for 10+ years. Once I had the correct salt level and other balances, I didn't have to adjust anything except adding about a cup of salt over the summer season. I do add 2 tablespoons of a Non-chlorine Oxidizing Shock once a week that keeps the water clear.
The only issue I've had is salt is hard on heater elements. Had to switch to a titanium element that resists corrosion.
