Oct 1, 2010Mighty Mouse was my absolute favorite, followed very closely by the Looney Toons cartoons. I have great admiration for Foghorn Leghorn.

Oct 1, 2010Mostly Looney Tunes (especially the ones with Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, Tazmanian Devil, Marvin Martian and Pepe'Le Pew). I also liked the Rocky and Bullwikle Show (particularlty Fractured Fairy Tales and George of the Jungle).

My favorite was and still is Loony Toons. Mel Blanc was a genius. LOL, it's been fun reading through this thread and being reminded of all the old cartoons - everyone remember the Jetsons?

Oct 2, 2010
I was also going to say Beanie & Cecil! None of my friends remember that - but I do. I had a Beanie & Cecil coloring book - loved it. !
I had to look that up. Turns out I knew them asBout'chou et Cassecou. As for H.R. Puffinstuff, another in the same genre was Lidsville, where everyone was a hat except for a Genie and two other humans, one young good guy and the other a nasty wizard named Horatio (although we did see his twin brother Bruce once).تفاعلرد - SIOct 3, 2010
what was the cartoon with the guy always eating a hamburger?
Maybe Jughead from Archie cartoons?تفاعلرد

Loony Tunes here as well, although I remember rushing home from school at noon to catch The Flinstones over the lunch hour. My kids love it as well and get a real kick out of it that mom and dad watched the same episodes 30+ years ago. cn

I just thought of Mr. Magoo and Cool McCool. We always watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" That should be coming up soon.
Years later, there was Inspector Gadget. And not long after that, the Smurfs! (Although I was introduced to their comic books first.)تفاعلرد
