Today - July 5, 2013 - I went to Gunnison, and found - for the first time ever - NO 'naturist' section. It was replaced by a giant roped-off area, designated as a 'nesting area' for a certain bird species. There was a small, fairly crowded section of the beach next to this, but everyone was wearing bathing suits; hence, it was clearly not the 'naturist' section. Does anyone have any info about why the traditionally nude part of Sandy Hook seems to have suddenly disappeared?

Jul 9, 2013I was there just a few days ago and there were alot of textiles around but a fair amount of naked people were also present.
