What rule have they broken?
I can't speak for post #4...but as far as I know "the boy and his peers have broken no rules". This was originally bounced back to the home page, along with several other posts that state the rules because "the boy" asked where to find them. As they had become buried over time, just thought I'd make it easier for him to locate them. JenReaccionarResponder

Jan 15, 2010This thread is getting out of hand, with the name calling and inflammatory diatribes.
Let's go back to the original post from Jen and Steve discussing our responsibilities as a participant of this web site.ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroJan 15, 2010
*huge yawn*

ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroJan 15, 2010
"THIS IS A SELF-POLICING SITE. THAT MEANS FOLLOW THE RULES AND IF SOMEONE IS NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY AS A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING TO TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS.Any site is only as good as its members - old or new. When a person (male or female) is not willing to follow the rules/policies/guidelines/etiquette set forth by the creator of the site and exhibits inappropriate or offensive behavior, then it is up to the "offended" member (old or new) to follow the guidelines that are in place to curtail such behavior. 1. Politely let the person know that their behavior or picture is offensive and against the policies of the site. If the offense occurs in chat, let them know it is against the rules and ask them to stop. If it is an offensive picture, send them an email letting them know.I suggestdoing it politely. The person in question may be unaware that what they have said or displayed or the manner in which they’ve behaved is against the rules. 2. If that does not work, flag their profile listing their specific offense. 3. If the behavior still persists report the abusive/offensive behavior in an email to abuse@truenudists.com 4. When you enter the chat room, REMEMBER that one of the rules you are agreeing to before you enter the room is to FLAG AND REPORT ANY MEMBER WHO IS BREAKING THE RULES. If you don’t, you are, in essence, breaking the rules yourself as that is part of what you agreed to do before entering the room. As one must be 18 to be a member of this site, I would assume that one would be mature enough to take responsibility for their own actions/reactions and act accordingly. The same social mores and tenets that exist socially (on the net or off the net) in the textile world apply to THIS nudist site. Let's all work together to keep this site a friendly place for "true nudists". Thank you!
What part of those rules are so hard to understand and accept. Anyone who wants to change them should take their play elsewhere and that can be done with private message and cam. Also, so many other sites are out there for people to play any way they like. This has become so tiresome to keep reminding people that they choose to come here and enjoy the site. With that simply follow the rules, or hide in private chat, etc. but stop pushing the envelope.ReaccionarResponder

ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroAutor originalJan 15, 2010TheTOSthat you can find here:http://www.truenudists.com/terms.htmlwas added to the site approx. 3 months ago after the thrid or fourth server upgrade and is nothing more than legalese to protect the site owner. The rules and guidelines were set by the site administration (known as Teamtrue1 or shortened TT1) and can be found in the following places: Picture posting rules and guidelines: My account: edit my: pictures These are the rules you agree to before you upload pictures. Chat Room Rules: Click on the Chat button up top. Before you can enter the chat room there are 6 rules yo uagree to before you are allowed to enter the chat room. Site Postings: This one is a little harder to find because it gets buried after many postings to the bottom of the forum but if you click on the Forum button above and go to Rules for posting: Rules for posting you can find them there. These rules were not made up by the members. They were created by Site adminsitration. And he also included measures fo rreporting those abuse the rules of each area of the site. If any one is interested in why I took the time to put ALL the rules/guidelines and reporting features on one post and listed them on several threads please message me privately as I have become soooooo disgusted with EVERYONE's attitude, backbiting, name calling, rudeness, etc that it may be quite some time before I bother to even look at the forum. Not that that will be a big lost to most, but it will be a loss to me. All this negativity is sucking the life out of this site for me. Admittedly, I'm jumping into the middle of an existing fray here, but I find it curious that some members list their sexual preferences in their profiles, and even stranger is the fact some profiles blatantly state they're looking for sexual contact with others. Although newcomers to this site, my wife and I have extensive experience in the nudist lifestyle, including your stomping grounds, Snugglebunny........two visits to Solair, and three years' membership with Berkshire Vista (formerly Birch Acres), during the late 80's.........and nearly ten years membership with Cedar Waters in NH. In other words, we know what nudism is and what it entails, and some of the overt sexuality in here seems over the top.

What the hell is in the water that has made EVERY one so angry??? With much sadness, Jen
Jen, will a hug help? I too miss the friendlyness, I can't understand how someone can say the rules for posting pics, starting groups, or posts in forums are suggestions. The are the rules, and by posting you agree to abide by the rules. The legalese TOS states that the content anyone posts are at sole discrsssion on TN. What the members do is inform the owner of anything we feel is inapproprate and the owner makes a decision. Another thing that keeps being brought up is why are groups and such we feel inappropriate not being removed? There are many reasons, sometimes a combination of them: 1) TT1 does not know about it yet 2) they have been flagged but have not been reviewed yet 3) the violation is a gray area and a decision has not been made. 4) in the case of chat room violations, it takes more one flag to remove someone in effort to prevent false vendetta flagging. There have been several references to this site failing. This site has seen a huge growth since it started a little over a year and a half ago. The only way I can see this site failing is if we allow it to turn into another sex site and the owner will simply pull the plug or by having people come in to create hate and discontent and make the good people leave. I have made too many wonderfull friends on here to leave, instead I will continue to work to keep this a good nudist, not sexual site. ThomasReaccionarResponder - TX

Unfortunately with so many newcomers it is hard to check all the profiles. Added to it is that fact that many have verry little in their profile when they join, but add things after they have been here a while. If you see a profile that is blatently sexual, you can flag it and bring it to the attention of site owner or simply send a message to the person asking them to change it. I have been on other nudist sites and found them to be more sexual than nudist, that is why I left.ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroJan 15, 2010
I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THOSE WHO HAVE HAD ENOUGH WITH THE VITRIOLIC ATTACKS THAT HAVE BEEN ONGOING FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS. Ignore the prattle and simply bump a new thread onto the main page. Some people are getting their kicks on upsetting others so don't give them their moment in the sun.

Jan 16, 2010As this thread has already been brought up to the head of the home page, I may as well post this to inform all the none certified members, that, Surprise Surprise! ..... Phillyboardboy, has just posted this on the Flame thread, that has been going on in the certified forum.
Yes i am from the past, and i have nothing better to do then get revenge for being kicked off a website that i can just join again!
Rest assured that all his fictitious garbage, and that IS exactly what it was, along with his profile, will soon be deleted. As Jen said in response on that thread
Okay, everyone, THAT explains a lot. PHilly, have no idea who you were in your other TN incarnation or why you were previously booted from the site, but prepare to get booted again. In the meantime, I'd like to advise everybody to just ignore him. Don't respond to ANYTHING he posts, ANYWHERE. It's only fanning his flames.
For the record: Fact: His tone AND disrespectful attitude, STARTED this argument, from day one. Fact: He did not substantiated any of his allegations with examples. Fact: If you Insult, ridicule and make disrespectful comments, people WILL get angry and retaliate. Fact: It is plain to see for anyone willing to study the forum, that there IS an unusual level of actively friendly and helpful people here. Fact: ALL of the information he required, IS here, if he had bothered to look for it, (or ask nicely)instead of trying to insist that we all live by the letter of the law. Fact: The world is NOT black and white, rules have to be tempered with compassion and common sense. Fact: We are all here at the discretion of the owner. Fact: The TOS (Terms of Service) is ALMOST irrelevant, other than to satisfy legal requirements and give the site owner the power to be judge and jury on his own site. Fact: The Site Owner *IS* JUDGE and JURY, members are merely asked to flag up possible contraventions to invite and facilitate, HIS decisions, according to HIS personal standards. (which incidentally, appear to be founded on basic common decency, respect and good old common sense) Fact: If you are dissatisfied with the way he is operating, HIS site, you have the opportunity to furnish him with your recommendations, if you are unsuccessful, you may leave. Fact: The flagging system IS anonymous. Harassment in that regard (other than outing) is not an issue. Fact: Anyone who feels they have been wronged, has the option to flag up their concerns. Fact: The Flag system does work, albeit that several mitigating circumstances, make it slower than is desirable. Fact: Every couple of months or so, some smart arse starts shooting off their mouth, before putting their brain into gear, everyone wastes a bunch of time, rarely because it is important to educate them, but because it IS important to some of us, that new members do NOT get a distorted and inaccurate impression. Sooner or later, the bird brain's profile is removed, with IT goes EVERYTHING that was written through that profile, and everyone's efforts to educate, are all but wasted. Hence my limited involvement in this instance. So relax everyone, this too shall pass. Once again, Don't respond to ANYTHING he posts, ANYWHERE, don't give him that satisfaction, like him, it will all soon be gone.

Jan 16, 2010Right now, from my perspective, there is a whole lot of nonsense on this board and it isn't just coming from the newbies. Let it go!IGNORE THE STUPIDITY ALREADY!ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroJan 16, 2010Seeing that TN is a supporter of AANR we could also agree that the AANR accepted rules of nudist etiquette be the example for all to focus on, thus we should be flagging groups that are sexually suggestive, and or down right discussing to the real true nudists image. Groups likeAllsex, ASS LOVERS, COCKRING LOVERS, COUPLE LOVERS, LOW-HANGERS SUPPORT GROUP, MALE ASS LOVERS, MARRIED AND CURIOUS, NO BALLS AND PENIS CLUB, NUDISM/VOYEURISM, NUDIST SWINGERS, NUDIST SWINGERS AROUND ALBANY N.Y., NUDISTS WHO LIKE TO BE NAUGHTY, NUDIST'S WHO ENJOY GREAT SEX, RISQUE SENIORS, TEXAS NUDIST SWINGERS, UK NUDISTS/SWINGERS, VOYEURS, YOUNG SUN LOVING GIRLS WANTED STRAIGHT OR BIare not acceptable to AANR standards, nor the majority of True Nudists in this forum. This is why we all have flag buttons !
New groups should be screened and need approval before appearing on TN!ReaccionarResponder - PH
Jan 16, 2010
Phil, first of all I have been certified from day one, and second of all, send me a friend request and you'll see that there is nothing questionable about my page. Thirdly, what makes a group is its members, it's not the group in itself that is the problem, it's the people that join it...no? There has been all this talk about removing "pervs" from the site, you actually think removing the group removes the pervs? No. Think of it in these terms: Al Qaeda is a group, right? But what is Al Qaeda without insurgents? It's nothing, it's just a name.
Opps! ..... I stand corrected :) In that case it's a shame you didn't find and read, the "Inappropriate groups" thread. Unfortunately, members are not likely to send a request unless they have a reason to think you have something in common, or, that you may have some good pics to ogle. You can restrict your pics to friends only, so there really is no need to go private, I happen to think it's akin to walking around in a nudist club fully clothed. In my view, bad form. Agreed it would be nice to eject anyone that joins an inappropriate group, but that would be very time consuming and therefore I doubt that it's an option. We have to work with what we have, I believe TT has several plans for the site, but they will only come to fruition, if and when the site becomes profitable enough to instigate them.

There have been cases where all members of an inappropriate group have been banned, it has be be a serious violation but it will happen.ReaccionarResponder - MIMiembroAutor originalJan 18, 2010Thank you, Phil, I'd completely forgotten about TT1's blog. And I'm going to agree with Nudist061 re:private profiles. The option is there and as you know we are currently using it (but hopefully for not much longer) for personal reasons. IMHO, people who've designated their profile as private are looking for just that, privacy. Nothing sinister to it. Our only other option is to pull our profile and I'm not willing to do that. It's so refreshing to see an exchange of thoughts and ideas with respect for each other. Thank you both. Jen

I've thought the same thing about banning (at least temporarily) members of banned groups. It makes sense to me, a group is nothing without it's members.

Jan 18, 2010As per my request, TT has also removed a couple of related threads, but may I humbly suggest, that we all take Jen's lead, and take a few minutes, to remove any comments (especially name calling, sarcasm, and quoted passages) and those that now make the thread non-sensical, from ALL affected threads, and replace them with a simple "EDIT: Comment no longer required" then we can hopefully, having learned from it, put this unfortunate episode behind us. Also, please note that as a number of comments have been deleted, if you have quoted a "comment #" it will now most likely be incorrect, so you may need to amend it. To identify the affected threads, I will post this comment where I notice it may be required. Thanks Phil.

I would also like to add my thanks.
I can understand people have legitimate reasons for having a private profile. What I do not understand is ones who send friend requests who have a private profile and I know nothing about them. I state in my profile I will not accept a friend request from someone with a private profile unless they give me a reason why they want to be my friend. Several of the people nudist061 mentioned in an earlier post with private profiles are my friends. However we established a common ground in forums and chat.ReaccionarResponder
