Who else does nude night walks in the neighborhood?
I wouldn't ever walk down my street naked, even at night. My neighborhood is too densely populated and urban and I would most likely run into somebody, an there is a significant Muslim population, many of whom are very conservative, and I'm sure that wouldn't go over too well. However, I have a high enough privacy fence in my back yard that I sometimes go out (if it's a warm enough night) and lay out on my hammock in the nude. Feels good to feel the warm night air on your skin.
About every average size town's running trail, at night, you will see nude people. I started when I saw a woman, at sunset, running with only sneakers. I tried to catch up but she was too fast. Then i tried biking, walking or jogging naked on a trail. It was about 2 am. I was biking one time and turned a bend. I almost hit a woman. She was very nice. She acted like she did not know she was naked. We talked and she told me her lifestyle. She said she is always naked at home. With young kids, she does not have time for herself. So when her kids go to sleep she comes outside and do something like walking. So she walks almost everynight naked on the trail.
I met 2 other women whike running.
I have done it when I lived more in the country side. Got out in just my shoes. It was in the middle of summer and I walked about 15 minutes one way to a small lake. I swam briefly and then walked back home. I dont know if anyone looked out of the window and saw me. If they did they must have wondered if they saw a ghost or if they were drunk because I dont think they could ever have imagined someone would be so crazy. It was first really scary to think I might meet someone, and a neighbor at that. I didnt meet anyone. It was completely quiet. I loved it and would want to do it again but now I live in a more densely populated area where police would be called.
A few years ago, especially during covid lockdowns I'd head out for a nude walk any time after about 11.00pm. Despite living in a warm climate it was most exhilarating in the winter - needed to maintain some pace to keep warm.
I crossed paths with only a couple of people, who were clothed. I just kept walking like I wasn't nude. Nothing ever come from those encounters despite our no nudity laws here. I guess they didn't recognise me or know where I live.
But times change and now nearly every house has a door bell camera or some small home cctv set up. Its too risky to get out there and not wind up in court.
Many years ago when still living in Melbourne (Australia) my wife & I had been out at a friends house and walked home. It was a hot night and we had both been drinking, when nearly home I said something like it would be a beautiful night to walk home naked. She dared me so when home I stripped off at the front door and walked around the block, she didn't join me sadly but did take a photo of me walking off into the night, my bare bum on show, not sure where that photo ended up.
I did it a couple more times but the novelty wore off, we started a family and life changed a bit. Stopped doing it but would not now due to the cameras on houses and the hassles that could follow.
When I was up early for work I would let the dog out or wander the the rubbish bins a short walk up the road. Most of the time the street is quiet so I next to never got caught.
Now the neighbours have a security camera facing their gate so I'm not sure how much of the road they can see so I'm less inclined.
