Naked Funeral

I was thinking today that it would be a kick to be naked at my own funeral, open casket, making one last statement for the nudist lifestyle! I know it's weird, but think about what a great funeral it would be! My friends would go away with a smile and thinking, "Only Paul..."

Not my wish or my husband's. One of our friends who passed away a few years back was a long-time nudist. He had a textile funeral and the following weekend had a memorial ceremony at one of our properties for nudist friends. His widow brought the guestbook with her so nudist friends could also sign it.

BTW, Jewish funerals don't generally have open coffins/viewing,

OK so sorry to be practical but if I've had a post mortum (Y cut)and all my organs removed I don't think I would look that nice naked.

My friends and acquaintances are mostly textilers, so I would have to have a textile funeral.

Don't think I'll do it, but sounds like a great idea - definitely different. The big problem would be having nudists and textiles together at thesametime; two separate services would probably be the way to go.

I think it is an awesome idea! No sense in burning up a perfectly good suit. Came into this world naked, why not go out that way too?

Finally! Who knew death would be so serious? LOL Was just toying with the idea of a funeral being a celebration of a person's life, and this person's life is naked, so being naked at my funeral sounded like food for thought! As for offending people, most of them are already around me naked, and they're not mandatory so if they didn't like it, they wouldn't have to come! Who am I kidding? I don't worry about offending people now, pretty sure I won't when I'm dead! Lighten up guys, life is too short!
