I used to know someone who would dump huge quantities of tomato ketchup on absolutely everything she ate: including her cornflakes at breakfast.

Jeternica (made with Barley) and Boudin (made with rice) are very simular, also known as liver sausage. Best baked then cut open and eaen with syrup poured over it. Best with corn bread with lots of butter and syrup on it too.

LOL Phil, the rattlesnake is almost as good as deep fried alligator.

There was an old favorite during the depression. Spread lard on bread and sprinkle with sugar. Fold the bread over and enjoy. That is still one of my comfort foods today only butter or margarine has replaced the lard. I'm signing off now so I can go and have some.,

I worked on a cattle ranch in Wyoming for a while, and Rocky Mountain Oysters are incredibly delicious! (fried bull testicles)

lol....love this thread..don't really know how strange this is but smoked oysters with sliced jalpenos's and cheddar cheese added with a dollop of chile garlic sauce and deli mustard...on a Triscut!

When I was unemployed and kind of low on money, I started dipping tortilla chips in pizza sauce and acquired a taste for it....ok, I didn't acquire the taste, I loved them right away! Gobbled a whole bag and jar in the first sitting!
