Single male nudist have always been shunned by the nudist community, you only have to look at this website and the amount of profiles that say Single Males not wanted.

And the couples who have that in their profile often complain that they still get unwanted attention from single guys..... that should tell you all need to know.

RE:MALE NUDISTS

I am curious about nude males on beaches. I have been going to nude beaches on and off most of my life and I am straight. Recently I have been going at least 2 to 3 times a week by myself for the last 3 years to the same beach (my wife occasionally joins me as well).I have tried to strike up conversations with others but it seems that I have spiders all over me. Not one has ever approached me and said hello.Very few if any will engage in a conversation and when they do, they seem very introverted/reluctant/suspicious. I thought nudists were likeminded people who would gladly associate or engage with others. Is it a fear that I am bi and after some action? Or it believed that 2 male nudists chatting are perceived as bi or something sexual? From experience on this site, a good proportion seem to have an agenda other nudism. Is it a male thing, some sort of taboo or is that male nudists are loners because of public perception that all males are somewhat perverted and have a hidden agenda. Nudist couples do not seem to have a problem from what I have seen.Id like to hear your thoughts.

Yoy either suck dick or you don't, is the average understanding. If you want action go find a gay guy, but if you aren't attractive they won't give you the time of day. If you are trying to "turn" a straight guy, you will probably get your ass kicked. Enjoy the view and Shut the Fuck Up!

I am a single male nudist myself and I always plan on a solo trip. Keep expectations of meeting anyone low. If it happens cool.. if not, still a good day. I find books to be a good arbiter in this dilemma..

RE:MALE NUDISTS

When a person goes to a beach why on earth would they go there to be naked and talk to complete strangers and have a conversation with them ?
Our experience of a beach in SCOTLAND was of middle age men in anoraks on a hot summers day trying to take photo's of us with their mobile phone's which in turn made us start looking for a club to join to get away from that type of bullshit as we had encountered very little of this type of thing on holidays to Fuerteventura

It is the behaviour of people that is important to us and not the gender or their sexual orientation

I totally agree with you and have even had other str8 men, as I'm str8 myself, turn down nude hangs because of that reason alone. I'm very comfortable in my sexuality and have no issues talking with another man at a beach or resort or having some social nude time with another man.

Thanks for all your contributions and all the different points of view.

To the people who said a nude beach is no different to a park, you wouldn't just walk up to someone in a park and start chatting, well generally you don't unless you have something in common like children or dogs etc.

In my mind nude beaches are different, because nudists are a minority group and they have something in common - nudity. Well I appear to have made some long held misguided assumptions.

After reading all the comments and reflecting on my own ideas of what nudists are about and my experiences over the years, I have now come to the sad conclusion that beaches are not clubs or social venues or places to make friends or where people have something in common but somewhere to enjoy your own self and what nature has to offer.

In future I will do exactly that, enjoy what I love doing and accept that socialising on nudist beaches is not common practice or invited.
