False profiles reduction

I think that being a certified member is a further guarantee for everyone due to the large number of fake profiles that, unfortunately, are present on the site. I fear it is a problem that is not easy to solve for those who administer the site. The members are numerous and not always anyone can be controlled. Perhaps greater rigor in the registration phase such as making the publication of the two photos mandatory (with and without clothes) can avoid or at least greatly reduce the problem. Maybe there will be fewer members, but at least more real people ..

There are plenty of ways to spoof the certification process but it does now require an unclothed picture.
The best way to reduce the number of unsuitable posts wold be to make certification a prerequisite for the ability to make posts or send messages. The naked picture could be automatically deleted by the certification process, ensuring an assurance of privacy for those who need it.
The question is: would the increase impose an excessive burden on the administrators?

Further to johngw "The question is: would the increase impose an excessive burden on the administrators?"

Do the administrators care about fakes. It would appear not!

They will always ask you to chat on another platform not monitored as well. Such as Google hangouts, etc. In saying that I prefer to chat there, because it is much easier. I've had multiple women ask me for money, despite "working" etc. Using fake pics and pics of porn actresses. It is always a sob story. One was about a woman who was paid to come work in Australia, but all of a sudden she couldn't get here. She used a profile pic of a size 6 woman, but when on hangouts she was completely different, meaning more like a size 26 (nothing wrong with being size 26). Just remember the stories will never match up and always have "plot" holes. If they ask for money, they will get angry every time to try and guilt you into giving them money.

My favourite was a woman who wanted money put into her Steam account for paying bills. Steam is a video game thing. Bloody idiot just kept digging a hole.

I'm strongly against Private Profiles for obvious reasons, if one is intelligent enough to know what that encourages. If one cannot show themselves here and own their nudity they probably need to find a site which is totally private on which they can contact other"private" nudists and open up to them privately. The only from of certification I will take as authentic is if the administrators can see the applicants on cam and then certify that they are nudists. It would definitely take a little work but worth the effort if anyone really cares!

The owners of this site show no indication they care about fake profiles.
I would love to have the power to delete the fake profiles especially the ones that advertise a phone number to call for sex.
There are so many obviously fake profiles that should be deleted.

I suspect that the number of fakes signing up is far too many for the moderators to cope with, if they are all reported.
Some DO get removed but it is so easy to sign up as a non-certified member and then start posting your spam. I also suspect some of the spammers have actually developed bots to automate some or all of the process.

My suggestion would enable people to sign on as lurkers but not to make a nuisance of themselves by posting friend requests and spamming groups.

I was pleased to see the responses to my post. In fact it is a pity that the site is littered with people who have very different interests from nudism and naturism. Probably the owner of the site does not have the resources and the desire to seriously address the problem. So (I'm speaking on a personal basis) a first solution is to relate only with certified profiles that give a high probability of authenticity ...

I would gladly volunteer my time to help eliminate fake profiles but I don't think the owners want to clean up the site.
